Currently CEO and Co-Founder of social commerce platform Moteefe, Mathijs Eefting is helping to drive forward the custom clothing and merchandise industry with a range of innovative technological and social media advertising solutions.
Mathijs’ working background is as a senior consultant at business management firm Booz & Company, and previously at UBM and Shell. After embarking on his MBA at INSEAD, where he met fellow co-founders Lev Kundin and Olivier Stapylton-Smith, Moteefe was set up in late 2014.
In 2015, Moteefe joined the MassChallenge portfolio in East London’s Tobacco Dock where it began printing the first campaigns. In Q2 2015, Mathijs helped the business to receive its first round of investment from Ascension Ventures and Fuel Ventures. Kicking off 2016 with a larger team, the end-of-year 2016 figures report that the platform rapidly increased 35% month-on-month growth.
He has lived in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK, Canada, India, Singapore and China.
